Trying to Figure it Out

Bronx is still trying to figure the whole eating thing out!! He is so random with his feeds. One feed he will take the whole thing, the next he will have to have the whole thing gavaged, and then the next, a random number like 6cc or 24cc. He is now weighing in at 5lb 2oz, after dropping down to 4lb 13oz. His behavior is typical for a 35wk baby and one day it will all of a sudden just 'click' for him and he will consistently be taking full feeds!! We can't wait for that day but are trying to be patient in the meantime while Bronx is still trying to figure it out. I keep telling everybody that he really isn't in any hurry to come home. He was in my belly for 8 months getting jumped on and pushed around by his big brother, not to mention the fact that he had to listen to a lot of screaming and crying, (from Teague, not me!!:)!! He is just content to be in his quiet little incubator where he isn't getting beat up or pushed around!!:) We are grateful that the only issue he is having is figuring out how to nipple his feedings and are excited for the joyous day to come when we will be able to bring him home!!
