Eastern Idaho State Fair.....and One Horrible Night

With Mike and Tyson still being out of town, we decided to all go to the Eastern Idaho State Fair.  The fair is something that I look forward to every year!  There just isn't anything quite like it!:)  Teague and Bronx both enjoyed themselves and I think we all had a good time.
On the way up to the fair, I remembered that I forgot jackets for the boys, so Kylee and I made a quick stop at the WalMart in Blackfoot and found two matching jackets for the boys, which I think, are adorable!:)
We walked around all of the little booths and then back around to all of the animals.  There always seems to be the same things there every year, but it never gets old!

Here are the boys in their matching jackets!:)

My dad was pushing the boys while we were in the barn with the pigs.  He kept pushing them close to this one pig in particular and the pig kept snotting on and slobbering on the stroller, sniffing at the boys' feet.  Both Teague and Bronx thought it was hysterical!

We ended the night with some ice cream!  As you can see, Teague really enjoyed it, and Bronx... not so much!:)

Now here is the 'horrible' part of the night!  Kylee rode home with me and on the way home I mentioned to her that my stomach kind of hurt and that I wasn't feeling the greatest!  She was maybe going to stay with me that night but decided to go home since I told her I was just going to go to bed as soon as I could get the boys settled and asleep.  I finally fell asleep around 11:30 or so but still felt nauseated and sick.
I woke up around 1:00am and ran to the bathroom to throw up.  Something was not sitting well in my stomach and I felt so super sick even after throwing up.  A few minutes later I heard Bronx crying and thought I had probably woken him up from being loud.  I went in there to find that he had thrown up all over himself and all over his crib.  I called my mom to see how I should clean it up etc., and she told me that she would just come in to help me since I still wasn't feeling well.  After I got off the phone with her, I put Bronx in the bathtub to get him all cleaned up.  A few minutes later I heard Teague crying in his room, thinking that Bronx crying and me turning the tubon had probably woke him up.  I put him in Tyson and I's bed and went back to clean Bronx up.  It was only seconds later and Teague was crying again and threw up all over Tyson and I's bed.  I got him undressed and put him in the tub with Bronx.  It was a fun time at our house.  All of us threw up within 15 minutes of each other! Nasty!!  I was so glad that my mom showed up shortly to help us out!
That night was a miserable one and my mom is seriously amazing.  I think she did at least five loads of laundry and would help out with the boys every time they would need to throw up again.  One of the reasons there was so much laundry is because Bronx would end up getting it all over himself after throwing up in his crib and Teague wouldn't throw up in a bowl.  After the first time of throwing up in the bowl, he correlated that with making him throw up.  From then on out, we just had to have him throw up in a towel. I think one time when Teague was throwing up, he ended up getting it in my mom's hair!!  So gross!  I don't know how she did it!  Every time I would hear one of them throwing up it would make me want to throw up again!  Through the night, Teague threw up nine times, Bronx three times and me four!
The next day, my mom took the boys out to the house so that I could get some rest. I drove out there later that night and stayed out there.  We all did OK through the night and just felt weak and didn't have an appetite the next day.  The boys and I went home later that night and stayed at our house.  I thought for sure we had all gotten food poisoning at the fair since the three of us shared a piece of pizza.  Little did I know, that wasn't the case!:)
The next day, I found out that my mom hadn't been feeling all that well the day before but didn't want to say anything to me because she didn't want me to feel bad.  It turned out that my dad, mom, Mandy and Kylee all got sick through the night and weren't able to go to work because they were home sick with the same thing the boys and I had!  Whatever we had was super contagious and super nasty!!  I am glad that we are done with that and hope we don't get it again any time soon.  And....I am sad that I don't know if I will ever be able to think of the fair the same way!  I think I will always think about how sick we were after being there!:)

Yay for moms!

A few months ago I got sick while all 3 kids were napping. I tried calling Darrell at work, but my cell phone wouldn't work and we don't have a home phone. I ended up e-mailing Darrell from my bed on the Kindle Fire. Luckily he was right by his computer and got my e-mail. He got home right at the end of the kids naps. Ugh!
