Labor Day Weekend Camping

We were able to go camping over Labor Day Weekend up near Kilgore at Bear Gulch Campground.  It is so beautiful up there and we had such a nice and big campground.  The boys and I headed up Friday evening with my parents and Kylee.  We got everything unloaded and camp set up and then enjoyed roasting our hot dogs and marshmallows around the campfire.  Later that night, Grandpa Hansen and Uncle John came to camp with us.  We were glad we were able to spend the weekend with them.
The next day, Tyson came up as well as Chris and Taylor, just in time for a breakfast of pancakes, bacon and eggs.  It was a little chilly up there so most of the day we enjoyed sitting around the continual campfire and then going into the trailers during the little rainstorms.  It was pretty muddy on Saturday, so Bronx wasn't too excited about the fact that he couldn't get down to play very much.
Later that afternoon, Mike and Mandy were able to come up.  It was fun having everybody there together.  The boys, (except for Grandpa), decided to take all of the "toys" and go on a ride.  While they were gone, we hung out and visited and prepared dinner.  Some dark clouds rolled in and we had quite a thunder shower for a while.  We were all glad that we were in the trailer and knew that the boys would be coming back soaking wet....which they did.  They were completely soaked!!  They said they still had a good ride though!  The rain stopped later that night and we were again able to go out and enjoy the campfire.
The next day, we went to church in Dubois and then headed back up to camp.  Dennis and his family came up for the day and we were able to hang out with them.  It was fun playing games around the fire with all of the cousins.  And Teague had a hay day playing with cousin Mary.  We are so glad they were able to come up.
The next day we had breakfast, cleaned camp up a little bit and then headed home so that Tyson could take a nap before heading to work that night.  We had a fun weekend and love when we get to spend time with family!  Teague wanted to either be riding the four wheeler or Razor the entire time!  Thanks to all who kept taking him on rides! And we are also grateful that my parents let us stay in the trailer with them so that we didn't get soaked/frozen in a tent!:)

Teague was NOT excited about Bronx using his bike!:)
