Washington Trip - Woodland Park Zoo

The next morning, we got up and left Shan and Marshall's, and decided to go to the zoo before heading to the Tri Cities.  It was fairly packed, but we were able to make our way to all of the exhibits.  Teague was especially impressed with the Safari area.  He loved seeing the lions, zebras, giraffes and elephant.  Bronx just enjoyed the sunshine and being pushed around in the stroller!:)
Funny story: We were walking by the wilderness area, heading over to see the bear and on the way there, there was a window exhibit that was completely packed with people.  There was even a huge line to get up to it.  I was curious what everybody was looking at and decided to sneak my way up to at least read what the sign said.  Low and behold, it was the ever so awesome MAGPIE that everybody was so intrigued with!  Needless to say, we didn't bother to wait in line!:)
After the zoo, we grabbed a quick bite for lunch and then headed on our way.  We ran into some traffic along the way because of the holiday weekend, but were to the Tri Cities by that evening.  Once again, our little road warriors did amazingly well.

I LOVE your zoo pictures! They should be submitted to National Geographic :)
