The last day we were with the Parish's, we went to the park and let the kids play on the toys. We had fun feeding the seagulls that kept swarming around for more food. That evening we were able to have a fire and roast marshmallows and have s'mores. It was a windy/chilly evening so it was nice to have a little warmth from the fire.
The next morning, Val made us a delicious breakfast and then it was time to say goodbye. It is always so bitter sweet. We were ready to get home and into our own routine again, but it's always sad leaving such good friends. Hopefully it won't be too long before we will be able to see them again!

So fun to read your updates. Looks like you had a great vacation! This is so crazy but is your friend Val's full name Valerie? When I was a Jr. in HS, I went to Boise for a leadership conference of some sort (can't remember the official name of it but I got to go for writing the best essay on leadership or something). When we got there we were all divided up into little groups/families and there was a girl (pretty sure her name was Valerie) in my group that looks JUST like your friend - it's got to be her!
Anyway, I love all the pictures of your boys and their big smiles. We're glad you had a good time. Ty would love to go to a Mariner's game and I hope to surprise him with tickets someday! :)
