Seattle & Sandpoint

Tyson and I decided a little bit ago that we wanted to try and do a little mini vacation before we move. We decided that we would head to Seattle for a couple of days, and then over to Sandpoint, ID to visit and stay with his mission President. It was a fun little break and it was nice to spend time together as our little family!! While we were in Seattle, we went to the aquarium, which Teague absolutely hated, so it was an expensive 3o minutes!!;) He just wanted to run around and kept kicking and screaming the entire time we were holding him. That night we were able to go to a Mariners (vs. Twins) game. That was the first MLB game that either Tyson or I have been to and it was really fun. The Mariners did win and we got to see two home runs back to back. Teague really liked it as well. Especially the big bag of popcorn we bought him and the cute girls sitting next to us that he flirted with the whole time!!:) They were gawking over him the entire game!! We stayed with Tyson's Aunt and Uncle in Sammamish that night and then headed to Sandpoint the next morning.

While we were in Sandpoint, we stayed up late visiting with President and Sister Boren and it was great for Tyson to be able to catch up with them. They had nothing but good to say about Tyson as a missionary, and President Boren told me that if they would have had 9 or 10 missionaries that worked like Tyson, they could have converted all of Manhattan!!:) They are such sweet people and I can see why Tyson loves them so much. The next day they took us around Sandpoint and to a beautiful view point of Lake Pend Oreille. It was a fun little vacation and I am glad we were able to fit it in before getting back to our busy schedule. And as usual, Teague was such a good little traveler!!:)

What a nice little get away! We're just sorry we're going to miss you guys on OUR trip since you're moving - but how exciting to be closer to family right!? BTW: I don't think I commented on a previous post on your little tummy - and when I say little, that is an understatement! For being half way along or more, you're tiny as can be and so cute of course! How fun! Hope you're feeling well and you guys are doing good! Good luck with your move!
