2 Months Old

8lbs 14oz and 20 1/2in long

Wow! Two months old!  So crazy to think that my due date was July 9th, yet we have had him here for two whole months.  We continue to be smitten by this precious little bundle!

Some things about Rebel:

*He continues to eat every 3 to 3.5oz of formula, every 3 hours, including during the night.  

*He as become a really good burper, but often times is fine not burping at all during a feed.

*The "jaw opening" hiccups still continue to plague him on a regular basis.

*He will sometimes stay awake for up to an hour and has started to look around.

*We hear more cries out of him now than we did before, but he still is a very easy and laid back baby.  

*He is still wearing newborn size diapers and clothes.

*His neck is getting stronger and he has started to lift his head up off your chest and side to side while you are holding him.

*Rebel doesn't really meet any of the milestones that a term baby would at 2 months old, but that is normal and what we were expecting.  The one thing he has done is smiled. It has only happened a few times, but I am sure it will become more frequent and consistent in the next month or so. There's just nothing quite like the sweetness of newborn smiles!

 Rebel has a birth mark underneath the right side of his jaw, on his neck!  The next couple of pictures you can see how cute it is!:)
