I have had to have a couple of ultrasounds since my original 19wk anatomy ultrasound so we have gotten to take a little peak at our growing boy! The first one was at 23wks for growth and AFI because I always measure small, and he was measuring right on for dates! The second one was at 24wks, to verify that all was well with his heart! I guess on the first ultrasound I had, they couldn't see all of the blood flow tracts, chambers, etc and he had elevated cord dopplers, so they wanted to make sure everything was ok there. Once again, after a week of stressing, my ultrasound came and we were able to verify that everything looks normal. The tech even looked at all of the other organs for me just for my peace of mind that everything is continuing to look good!
This next picture is the best! My dad always tells Teague and the boys goodbye when we leave or he leaves and then tells them "peace", making the peace sign with his two fingers. Teague says it and does the sign back, and Bronx just tries to make the sign. This is something that my dad has done ever since Teague was little and so it's just a tradition now whenever we depart. As the ultrasound tech was scanning, trying to get a profile shot for me, our little boy made the peace sign with his two fingers! I couldn't help but chuckle and immediately had to send the picture to my dad when I got home!! He has already learned something from Grandpa Grover!!:)
