I have been writing down the cute/funny things Teague has been saying over the last few months and wanted to document them! Enjoy!:)
*One day I was sitting on the couch. Teague climbed up and started playing with my hair and then said, "Nice....hair!"
*One day he started saying "Daddy 'H' car?" when Tyson would get ready to leave for work. I didn't know what he was talking about and then I figured it out. He is so observant, he had noticed the 'H' on the front of our Civic and that is now what it is called. The 'H' car!:) He also notices every 'H' (Honda) car we pass or see in the parking lots.
*Teague goes shopping with me so often he now refers to the stores by the color of carts they have: WalMart- blue cart, Ross- also blue cart, TJ Maxx- little red cart, JoAnns- green cart, Winco- black cart, and Costco- big red cart with "BIG bompies"! (Bumpies, because of the bumps you have to go over on your way into the store!) I know which store he is wanting to go to by the cart he describes!:)
*Teague and I were looking out the window one day as it was starting to hail. The hail got stronger and the wind was blowing and so it was pounding on the door. Teague thought my mom was knocking on the door so he got really excited and yelled, "Yay! Namma!" while he was trying to look for her out the window!:)
*We were out running errands one day and Teague was not ready to go home yet. As soon as we passed the exit before the exit of our house, Teague started crying and saying, "No! Lion one!" He had noticed the lion on the Red Lion Hotel sign and wanted to go that way. He knows that the "Lion" exit is the exit where we spend a lot of time because of the "black cart" (Winco).
*The boys had been sick with fevers, so I was frequently placing my hand on their foreheads to check their temps. One day I told Teague to go do something that he didn't want to and he looks at me with his smirky little face, trying not to smile, hand on his forehead and says,"Mama! Teaguey hot!" He now tries to use this tactic to get out of things!:)
*Anytime anybody coughs or sneezes he says, "Oh no! You sick?!"
*Teague was not happy with me one night when I told him it was time to go to bed and read books. I asked him if he wanted to go read books and he kept saying something I couldn't understand and was getting really frustrated with me when I kept asking him to repeat himself. I finally figured it out. He was saying, "No ganks!" (No thanks!) I said, "You don't want to read books?" His reply was, "No ganks!" I then said, "Ok! Let's go get in bed then." Once again, his reply, "No ganks!" I couldn't help but laugh! I am glad that he is using his manners but he hasn't figured out that you still have to do things even if you say, "No ganks!" :)
*Teague was trying to tell me something about Namma and I couldn't figure out what he was saying. I asked him which grandma; Grandma Wheatley or Grandma Grover. He replied back with, "No! Namma razor!" :) He is officially obsessed with my parent's Razor!:) And so I guess my mom will be known as 'Namma Razor'!:)
***This one has to be my favorite so far!***
Over Labor Day Weekend, we were camping up near Dubois and went to church that Sunday down in Dubois. During the passing of the Sacrament, Teague was being really loud by saying over and over, "Sacament. Bread. Water. Sacament. Bread. Water." I leaned over to him and whispered in his ear and told him that he needed to be quiet and that we are supposed to be thinking about Jesus during the Sacrament. In his not so quiet voice he piped up and said, "Cheeseballs. Cheeseballs." Unfortunately when I said 'Jesus' he heard 'cheeseballs'! After that, we were all a little irreverent during the Sacrament because we couldn't stop laughing!:)
***Side note: A few weeks ago in church, while the Sacrament was being passed, I asked Teague what we are supposed to be thinking about during the Sacrament. I was so proud and may have gotten a little teary eyed when he smiled at me and whispered, "Jesus."
We sure love our adorable Teague!

I LOVE him too! So glad you wrote all of these fun things down. He sure is cute. (And Bronx too of course! :) Love you!
I love the shopping cart thing! What a cute little boy. And I love the cheeseballs! :)
Love the "No ganks" story and the faking sick - clever boy!:) I have to tell you - my kids refer to their grandparents as Grandma and Grandpa with the cows (Ty's parents who are dairy farmers) and Grandma and Grandpa with the boat (my mom and stepdad). It has just stuck and we even find ourselves refering to them that way when we explain to them who's house we're going to, etc.
