Decorating and the Countdown

At the end of September, the boys and I decorated for Halloween.  The kids were so excited for all of the new decorations and especially fell in love with the witch on the top of our armoire.  We sing the song "I'm a Mean Old Witch" at least a couple of times a day and the boys LOVE it!  Halloween is so much fun!:)

I decided it would be fun for the boys to have a countdown for Halloween, so we started it on October 19th and we are doing the '13 Nights of Halloween'!  Each day the boys get a piece of paper out of the sock and it tells them where to go and look for their "surprise" for that day! They have both really enjoyed it and Tyson and I have loved watching how excited they get!:)  Bronx usually just getting excited about the fact that Teague is so excited!:)  Everyday when Teague wakes up he says, "Halloween sock, Mom?!"
The first night they got their pumpkin jammies, that they were both really excited about!  I had them hanging in our linen closet and when Teague opened the door he got a huge smile on his face and said, "Yay!  Pumpkin jambies!"  I love these two little pumpkins!:)

What cute decorations you have for the season! And what a fantastic idea - halloween sock countdown - might have to borrow that one for next year. Love that pix of Teague finding his nose! :)

I am in LOVE with your Halloween decor!!! I love the bottles you made, I feel like Halloween is a hard one to decorate for because I'm not a fan of really scary decorations. You did it perfectly!! The countdown looked way fun and those are VERY cute little pumpkins!
