21 Months

Teague is 21 months old and has developed quite the personality!! He is full of spunk and keeps us not only smiling, but on our toes. He is such a great big brother to Bronx, and you can tell that he really cares for and loves him. Whenever Bronx is crying, Teague always runs to his side and waits there staring at Tyson and I until we come and "fix the problem." He is usually soft and gentle with him and likes to give him kisses. He continues to love watching me bathe Bronx and change his diaper, and likes to help out by throwing the dirty diaper away, handing me Bronx's clean clothes, giving me tons and tons of wash clothes, and the most helpful of all is when he throws Bronx's towel right in the water!!:) Whenever we are feeding Bronx and sit the bottle down to burp him, Teague is right there to pick it up and hand it to you!!:) He loves to stroke the top of Bronx's head and also wiggles Bronx's toes and wants us to recite "This Little Pig"!! He really is such a great help and I love that he is so attentive to Bronx.

Some other things about Teague right now are, he loves to put on other people's shoes, and I think my heels are his favorite. He actually does a really good job at walking in them. He loves giving kisses to Bronx, and has started giving kisses to Tyson and I. He is quite the dare devil and has learned how to jump off the couch, which is quite scary!!:) He loves to stand up on his little tractor and that can be interesting too!! He is very independent in his eating now and likes to feed himself. He refuses to use a little fork, so we give him regular ones and he does really well. I am not sure if he is going to be right or left handed yet because he throws with both, colors with both and eats with both. He gets into everything and is a pro at making messes. I can't seem to pick up after him fast enough before he is into something else!!:) He loves getting his picture taken and has become quite good at different poses and faces!! Some of them are pretty comical!!:) Teague likes to take shirts, blankets, socks, etc. and enjoys walking around with them around his neck. I am not sure what is so great about it, but he seems to be pretty proud of himself after he does it!! He loves to help with the laundry, play with the computer, even though he knows he isn't supposed to, help me sweep the floor, and loves when I hand him things to set the table. He is still deathly afraid of the vacuum and runs as far away from it as possible whenever it is on. He has really been into dancing lately and bounces up and down whenever he hears music with a good beat. He gets to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse in the mornings and dances whenever the 'Hot Dog' song comes on!!:) The other day he was standing in the laundry basket and was really shaking it when that song came on!! It was hilarious to watch. He still loves throwing any and every kind of ball and always amazes people at his strength and accuracy when it comes to throwing. We definitely have more balls than any other kind of toy!!

Teague's most common words right now are: dada, mama, baby, ball, MmmmHmmm, ouch, hot, sick, woohoo, peek-boo, and most recently he will point to himself and say 'Teague'!!:) It is adorable!! He isn't too fond of making many animal sounds, but LOVES to roar when you ask him what a lion says, and when asked what an elephant says, he will make the sound while raising his arm up like a trunk!!:) He knows how to point to quite a few body parts, and has mastered eyes, nose, ears, mouth, tongue, hair, toes and belly button. He is starting to obey more and more commands and amazes me at how much he as grown and developed just in the last month!!

Teague is pretty good at throwing tantrums still and has a great set of lungs. He has the highest pitched scream and will do that quite often when he is mad, along with throwing himself down on the ground and either banging his head or hands on the floor. We ignore him usually, and most of the time it isn't long before he stops and is back to playing.

We sure love him and the fun little boy that he is. We couldn't ask for a better toddler!!:)
