Bronx is one month old today, and the time as flown by. We have had him home for 2 weeks now and we have loved every minute of it. When we first brought him home, he was sent home on the 24 calorie formula because he wasn't able to eat enough volume of the regular 20 calorie, in order for him to get his daily caloric needs. He was having really formed stools and seemed really fussy after he was done eating. He just didn't seem content most of the time. This was different than his temperament in the NICU, so after thinking about it, we contributed his behavior to the 24 calorie formula possibly. After a few days of having him home, he started to really eat well and was eating enough in volume to be able to switch him over to the 20 calorie formula, so we did. Within just a few days, Bronx's stools became softer, his behavior changed and he seems to be more content now. He is an extremely easy going and content baby, and seems to just be taking everything in around him when he is awake. He usually eats every 3 to 4hrs, and always has big sailor burps afterwards!!:) He gets the hiccups at least once a day, which is the same as when he was in utero. A couple of things about Bronx that is very different from Teague is that 1) he is a wiggle worm. He hates to be swaddled and would rather be able to stretch out and 2) he is loud. He makes the craziest sounds when he is sleeping. He is constantly grunting and making random noises. He gets so loud, it even bugs Tyson, and he can usually sleep through anything. He may be moving into his own room sooner than later!!:) We sure love this little guy and are pleased at how well he continues to grow and develop!! We feel so blessed to have him in our home. 7lbs 5oz and 19 1/4in long
