Big Boy Bed

When we got all moved into our house, we decided that we would turn Teague's crib into a toddler bed, to prepare him for the twin bed that he will soon be sleeping in. After this baby is born, I am sure we will keep him in our bedroom with us for awhile, but it won't be long before he will be needing the crib. We were a little nervous about how Teague would do not being in his crib, (which he loved), but he has done amazingly well. From the very beginning he has been really good to stay in bed and not try to get out, whether it be for naps or for bedtime. There have been only a handful of times where he has gotten out and fallen asleep on the floor like this:One of my favorite things about having Teague in the toddler bed is when he wakes in the morning. We always have his door cracked, but not shut after he falls asleep and I love hearing the sound of him flinging his door open and running into our bedroom!! He lifts his arms up and wants us to pick him up and put him in bed with us!! Such a cute wake up call!!:)
