Halloween Party

I have always loved Halloween and the fun that comes along with it. When I was growing up, I hosted a few Halloween parties with my friends, and I LOVED it. Even when I was in high school I loved to decorate for Halloween and wanted to make the house "spooky" for the trick-or-treaters. One year, my mom even let us hide a tape player out on the porch, covered with leaves, that was playing spooky sounds and music. We thought we were so clever!!:) Even though Teague doesn't really have a clue as to what Halloween is, I still wanted to do something. We invited our friends, the Parish's, over for a little Halloween fun. We decorated Halloween cookies, and Teague got involved by assisting with eating a little extra frosting!:)
Then, we carved pumpkins. We let the guys take over with this part.
This was the first time Tyson and I have ever carved pumpkins since we have been married. Kind of sad, huh?! It was actually really fun and something we will continue to make a tradition of. Tayson wasn't so sure he wanted to touch the guts. Lucky for me, our pumpkin wasn't all that "gutty" which was nice!!:) And, I forgot how much pumpkins stink when you cut them open!!

While the guys were carving pumpkins, Tayson and I made the caramel apples.

Here Tyson and Jory are, so intently planning their patterns out.
The final products!! The Boise State logo, compliments of Jory, and Tyson's creepy Chinese man!!:)
