Labor Day Weekend

This Labor Day weekend we were able to go camping in Island Park with my family. Tyson couldn't come up until later, and Chris & Taylor were both busy, so they weren't able to come at all. We missed having them there. It was nice to be able to get away for awhile and to not have to think about the packing and moving. Island Park has to be one of my very favorite places to camp. It is so beautiful up there. We had a really good time and the weather even cooperated for the most part!!:) It was a lot warmer than when we camped over Memorial Day and it rained most of the time. And of coarse little Teague was a trooper and did so well.

Trying to wear Teague out in the trailer. He just did not want to give in. Little stinker!!:)
Finally he decided he could go to sleep. So stubborn!!:)
The trailer- Thankfully my parents let us sleep in there with them so we didn't freeze in the tent!!

Saturday was really good weather so my dad took us girls out boating. It was really fun....even though I was the only one that got "dumped" in the nasty water!!:)
Adorable Mandy
When we got back from boating, Grandma & Teague were waiting for us down on the dock.

On Sunday morning, we got up early to get ready to go to church down in Dubois. The joys of showering when it is freezing and you have a little tiny stall shower that doesn't have a continuous flow of water coming out. And....trying to shave your legs is a joke. It's more like shaving the skin off of your goose bumps!! But, I must say that I am grateful we could shower, and we were not doing it in the freezing cold of the outdoors. At least the trailer was semi warm. Teague bathed in the trailer sink of coarse....since it is tradition for all babies when camping. He was a little bigger than the last time he bathed in the sink. Tyson made the comment that this time he looks like Moby Dick, and not a little fish anymore!!:)

After church we went over to my grandparents house for lunch. It was great to be able to sit and visit with them.
Teague found a little horse to ride
A cute cowboy!!:)
Kylee showed him the dolphin that "squeals," that we all used to play with.

After we were finished at my grandparents, we went over to Stoddard campground, where we were able to see alot of people on my mom's side of the family. They were all up there camping for the weekend. Sunday it was really cold and windy, so we were all standing around the campfire trying to stay warm. We were able to see quite a few people, including my Grandpa Hansen, which I forgot to get a picture of.:( It was nice seeing everybody, since we are not sure when we will be home next after we move.
