For Memorial Day Weekend we were able to go camping with my mom's side of the family. We went up past Spencer, ID to Stoddard Creek Campground. Despite the fact that it rained alot and was pretty cold, we still had an enjoyable time. Teague was such a trooper. He had to wear a coat and hat and mittens everytime he was outside and he tolerated it fairly well. His hands were always freezing though because he was constantly sucking on his gloves, trying to get to his fingers. Needless to say, I think Teague had a good first camping trip!!
The first two nights, Teague and I stayed in the trailer with my family, so we stayed really warm. I just had him sleep in his hat and made sure to tuck him in really good. Plus, he was sleeping in my sleeping bag with me, so he didn't have much wiggle room to get cold. The third night, Tyson was able to come up and we set up a tent and stayed in there. Again, we just wrapped him up really tight in his blankets, put his hat on, and layed him right by us in our sleeping bags and he did just fine. Slept through the whole night, snug as a bug!!:)
Mary was so cute. She wanted somebody to push her around in the bike trailer and so I told her that I would. I put Teague in the trailer with her and she kind of pouted and said, "No! He's too big." :) It was really funny!!
One of the days right before lunch, the rain started to pour. Teague and I still wanted to go out and be with the rest of the family. So, I put him in the front carrier and then zipped him up in my coat. He stayed nice and warm and out of the rain for the most part. He was such a good camper.

We went to church in Dubois on Sunday and so instead of having a big breakfast with everybody, we all just ate cold cereal in our trailers. Teague just enjoyed eating the box and sitting in his Bumbo watching everybody else eat. Then, it was time for him to have his bath in the sink. Each of us kids has a picture of us as a baby getting bathed in the trailer sink, so we couldn't break the tradition. I don't think that we took up quite as much of the sink as Teague did though!! Teague didn't like the fact that he couldn't lay down and stretch out like he is used to when getting bathed. Not quite as relaxing!!:)
Teague and his awesome bowl hat. I am not sure which of my family members gave him the accessory!!:)
What a chunk?!:)
Teague was so excited to go out in the fresh air after hanging out in the trailer.

Sunday afternoon was really pretty and not rainy, so we decided to go on a hike. Right next to our campsite was a trail that led up toward the top of a few ridges. It was really pretty the whole way up and then towards that top was a beautiful view. Tyson carried Teague in the front carrier and Teague loved every minute of it. Poor Tyson!! I am glad he was the one carrying him and not me!!:)

The crew at the top of the ridge

Later that evening, some of us drove over to this old bridge to throw rocks off of it. Most of us were fine just throwing small rocks that were on the road and near the bridge, the this didn't satisfy the boys. They thought they needed to go and find big rocks to throw off!! I must say it was very entertaining but nerve racking at the same time. The whole time I was nervous that somebody was going to throw themselves off the bridge while throwing these big boulders.
