One Year Old

WOW!!  Our adorable little Bronx is now 1 year old!  I cannot even believe it!  What a fun year it has been.  He has been such a fun addition and joy to have in our home.  We feel so blessed.

Bronx has started to walk a little bit more.  He continues to walk around furniture and has even taken a few steps off on his own.  His fastest form of movement continues to be his bear crawl.:)  Bronx has 4 teeth; the top, middle two and bottom, middle two.  We never could get him to love or enjoy baby food, but now that we have started feeding him more table food, he is in heaven.  He will eat pretty much anything and everything.  I am sure that won't be the case always, but for now it is fun. 

Bronx hasn't really started talking very much yet.  He makes a few noises here and there, but for the most part just keeps to himself or laughs.  Whenever we try and have him say something, he will just look at us and then bust up laughing.  I think he could talk if he wanted to, but would rather tease us by not saying anything!:)  We are continuing to work with him at getting him to start making sounds and saying 'ma' and 'da'!  For now, we will just settle for him pursing his lips together and blowing spit at you every time we try!:)  He has a mind of his own!

Bronx continues to make everybody smile that sees him.  He is such a calm and easy going baby and smiles all the time!  His smile just melts my heart and his laugh is contagious!  One of his favorite things to do right now is play 'peek-a-boo'!  When we say 'peek', instead of covering his eyes, he covers his ears!  It's hilarious!:)

Bronx loves being with Teague and will follow him from room to room.  He can't seem to get enough of his big brother!:)

We are so grateful to have such a fun and sweet spirit in our home and would be lost without our sweet little guy!
