This year, a few days after Christmas, my parents rented a cabin for all of us, up in Island Park for four days. The whole family was able to be there, so it made for a really enjoyable weekend. We haven't all been together for that long of a time period ever, I don't think!! The days were filled with snowmobiling, playing in the snow, soaking in the hot tub, eating lots of delicious food, playing cards, watching movies, doing puzzles, playing air hockey and foosball, ringing in the new year, laughing and reminiscing!! We couldn't have asked for a better weekend!! We are so grateful to my parents for making it happen!!
The highlight of the trip, I would have to say, was Teague on New Year's Eve!! He of coarse was up to ring in the new year with all of us, and put on quite the show!! At midnight, we all started to blow our horns and throw confetti and Teague went WILD!!:) He was jumping up and down like a maniac and laughing and laughing. The more we would clap and get excited, the more he would perform!!:)
After we got back home, and all unpacked and situated again, I was reminded once again how much I love our families. I am glad for the times we are able to spend with our families and for the memories that we are making!! What a blessing it is to be a part of such great families!!
