Happy Birthday #2, Teague!!

Today we were able to celebrate the 2nd birthday of our sweet little Teague!! He is so much fun, but is becoming quite a handful!!:) He definitely keeps us on our toes. He is getting quite the personality and is becoming more and more stubborn each day!! His favorite thing right now is Mickey Mouse, and he loves anything and everything that has to do with Mickey!! We had a little Mickey party for him this afternoon and he was so excited about everything Mickey Mouse!!:) He still loves to play with his basketball and hoop and is getting really good!! Tyson raised the hoop and so he practices with dad everyday at making more and more baskets. He even jumps when he shoots the ball which is so dang cute!!:) I know it doesn't take much to be a better player than I am, but he has already surpassed me at the age of 2!! Hopefully he has an athletic future ahead!!:) He is starting to say more and more words and is constantly being polite, telling us 'please' and 'thank you' which I love!! He doesn't say all of the animal names, but has 25 different animal magnets, and can go and grab whichever one we tell him to. He also knows his colors and will grab whichever color of toy we tell him to. He likes to walk up and down the stairs and counts as he does it. He can count to 7, but usually his counting pattern goes something like this---'1, 2, 3, 2, 3, 2, 3....... and so on!!:) He doesn't really like church, and has only stayed in nursery once!! I am hoping that at the beginning of the year, after we go to 11, it will be better for him!! He is still very sweet and likes to snuggle with me in the mornings while watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!! We love our little boy and the independent toddler he is becoming!!:)

I will mention for remembering sake, that Teague wasn't too into his little party we had for him. Tyson had worked the night before, so I was trying to wait as long as I could before waking him up to open presents and have Teague's birthday dinner and cupcakes, etc. Teague was about 2hrs past nap time when we decided we better let him open presents!! He opened his presents and was excited about Mickey Mouse, but then when we went to eat dinner, Tyson moved his new book over just slightly and that was the end of it!! Teague threw his plate and beans went flying everywhere!! Needless to say, the party ended short and Teague was happy about going down for a nap!!:)

I love to hear that other people's toddlers aren't perfect, either:) Hunter was a BEAST for his second birthday party!
