Babysitting....?!

The other day I had a staff meeting in the afternoon, so Tyson was home and was supposed to be watching Teague. He had worked the night before, so I knew that he was tired, but didn't know just how tired!! I came home to find Tyson asleep on the floor and next to him on the blanket was little Teague asleep as well. I am not sure if Teague was just so bored that nobody was paying attention to him or if he was just super tired, but he was fast asleep next to Tyson. The bad part was, Tyson woke up when I came up the stairs, and he had no idea that Teague was asleep by him. So much for babysitting!!:) As I examined the house further, I found a whole roll of toilet paper unrolled in the bathroom, half of a box of Q-tips on the floor, tupperware lids and containers all over in the kitchen, and toys in the garbage!! Let's just say that I don't know if I will be hiring Tyson to babysit again!!;)
Later that evening, I was getting laundry gathered up to put in the wash and Teague decided to assist!! I usually put him in the laundry basket and pull him around in between loads of clothes, but not usually with clothes in it. He decided that that didn't matter and was ready to be pulled!!:)

Snuggling on the couch with dad after a long day of "ruling the roost"!!:)

Classic dad right!? How hilarious - I'm sure Teague was in hog heaven with his new found freedom. :)

So we are planning a vacation to the Oregon coast at the end of May and being the crazy parents we are - we plan to drive and thought maybe we could meet up with you guys on our way through. I don't know if we'll actually drive into the Tri-Cities but I thought that we're so close that it would be a shame not to try to visit and maybe do lunch or something. I'll just have to get a better feel for where you guys actually live and how far that is off the main interstate we'll be taking. So let us know and maybe we can work something out. We'd love to see you and we definitely know what it's like to be away from family - visits are treasures for sure!

That's funny! I was always amazed at what Tyler could do while I was awake and just in the next room.

lol. This reminds me of the other day. I left for a few minutes and I came back I asked why Wes was in something and Trent said, "You left." haha. It's a good thing we we all have mommies

This reminds me of when Jeffrey was a baby. Katie had gone to homemaking and she returned to find me asleep on the couch and Jeffrey was running around. She was not too happy about the sleeping Dad.
